Punk 57 by Penelope Douglas

“We’re all ugly, Ryen. The only difference is, some hide it and some wear it.”

Rating: 4.5 out of 5.

Misha has been penpals with Ryen since they were kids. As they grow older they fall more in love with each other through each letter. So what does Misha do when he meets her but keeps his identity secret. Will Ryen figure out that Misha is in front of her, and does Misha like the person he meets.

I couldn’t put this book down, it was such a steamy read. I really loved the characters, the plot and the way everything unfolded. The characters were great and I loved how flawed and problematic they are. There was a lot of great lessons to be learned but also a lot of hot smut to indulge in.

I honestly didn’t see anything coming and was totally invested in everything that was happening. This is a new adult book, the characters are in high school and even though I didn’t mind, I do wish they were in college. This book turned out a lot deeper and better than I expected, totally recommend it.
