The Layover by Lacie Waldon

Rating: 3 out of 5.

Ava is going on her last trip as a flight attendant before she gets married and settles down. But the plane has issues and she is forced to spend time with the gorgeous former pilot Jack Stone who is also her nemesis. But as she actually gets to know Jack and enjoy this surprise holiday, she starts to question everything she wanted for her life.

I thought this was a fun and quick read. I loved Ava and Jack and totally enjoyed their chemistry and banter. Everything does happen quite fast but I surprisingly didn’t mind it. A lot happens in a short period of time which somewhat disguises the insta-love. But I did still enjoy the romance and thought it was super cute.

This book makes me want to get on a plane, I was so jealous of all the fun they were having. The side characters are also really great, honestly the more I write the more I realized I enjoyed this. For a debut, this was really great and totally recommend checking this out.
